Manipulating Height and Length

A curtain wall can be resized to match the dimension requirements, that fits in the design.

Extending length of a curtain wall of 'Fixed Spacing" layout adds new panels row

  1. After a curtain wall is placed, select the frame and highlight the corner edit handle. The mini toolbar opens for selected corner point.
  2. To manipulate height, select the (Move) tool for the grip handle at one of the top corners. The cursor changes, which can be dragged in vertical direction.
  3. Move the cursor up along the side of the frame. The vertex is extended as you drag. Accept a data point after you have dragged the handle to required elevation.
The curtain wall height gets extended.
Similarly, selecting the Move tool for the grip handle at one of the bottom corners, you can manipulate the length and also the orientation of the selected curtain wall. The mullions pattern in existing panels, if any were rearranged before resizing of curtain wall frame will remain unaltered.
Tip: Alternatively, to manipulate the length of the curtain wall, you can also use the (Toggle Base Curve Visibility) tool to pick the baseline terminal handle and extend it.
The panels get added or extended in size based on the layout of the curtain wall:
  • For Number of Panel typed layout, it extends the panels along frame.
  • For rest of layout types —Fixed distance and Min/Max spacing types, it add cells of default panels. For extended height, adds number of rows, and for extended length, adds number of columns of standard panels.
